BLACKPINK (블랙핑크) is a girl group under YG Entertainment, consisting of members Kim Jisoo, Jennie Kim, Park Chaeyoung (Rosé), and Lalisa Manoban (Lisa). They debuted on August 8th, 2016 with double title tracks, Whistle and Boombayah. They quickly rose to fame with the general public and has since topped charts with every release. They collaborated with Dua Lipa on Kiss and Make Up. In 2019, they became the first K-pop group (not first Korean act) to perform at Coachella. Blackpink became the music group with the most subscribed on Youtube in September 2019. They're also the most followed girl group on Spotify. Blackpink collaborated with Lady Gaga on Sour Candy, which was released in May 2020. Their first full-length album was released on October 2nd 2020, including collabs with Selena Gomez and Cardi B.

jisoo 김지수
Kim Jisoo was born on January 3, 1995 in Gunpo, South Korea. She joined YG in July 2011. Before debuting as Blackpink's visual and lead vocalist, she made cameos in Epik High's Spoiler + Happen Ending music video, Hi Suhyun's I'm Different music video, KBS' The Producers drama, and various commercials. From February 5, 2017 to February 4, 2018, she was one of the MCs for Inkigayo. In 2019, she made a cameo in the TVN drama Arthdal Chronicles. She has a white maltese named Dalgom.
jennie 김제니
Jennie Kim was born on January 16, 1996 in Cheongdam-dong, South Korea. She lived in Auckland, New Zealand for five years before moving back to South Korea and joining YG. Before becoming Blackpink's rapper and vocalist, she featured on Lee Hi's Special, G-Dragon's Black, and Seungri's GG BB. She also made a cameo in G-Dragon's That XX music video. Jennie's solo debut (Solo) was released on November 12, 2018, becoming the first Blackpink member to do so. She is the Global/Ambassador of Chanel.
rosé 박채영
Park Chaeyoung (Roseanne Park) was born on February 11, 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand but was raised in Melbourne, Australia. She is Blackpink's main vocalist and lead dancer. In 2012, her father convinced her to take part in YG's Sydney auditions. She ranked first amongst everyone and joined YG that same day. That same year, Rosé featured on G-Dragon's Without You.
lisa lalisa manoban
Lisa was born on March 27, 1997 in Bangkok, Thailand. She is Blackpink's main dancer and lead rapper. She officially joined YG in 2011 and became the company's first non-Korean trainee (now idol). Before debut, she was apart of Thai dance group We Zaa Cool alongside GOT7's BamBam. In January 2019, Lisa became Celine's muse. She is the most followed K-pop idol on Instagram.
